Aroma Restore Yoga uses the power of essential oils to complement a still, restorative and relaxing practice. This is Yoga Nidra combined with a few gentle + simple resting poses. 

Why Aromatherapy? Your sense of smell is directly related to different parts of your brain that regulate your memory, emotions, & hormones, which can be a powerful pathway for transformation, connection + remaining present in your practice.

Prepare to be still, to let go of your desire to be constantly “doing something”. Learn to let go, to use your breath and body to go deeper into relaxation than may have previously experienced. This is the ultimate relaxation.

Flow + Glow Yoga {Prenatal, Postnatal + All Women Welcome} combines breath work, energising flows, deeply safe stretching and strengthening postures to keep your body in good shape and your energy levels high.

If you’re missing your regular Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga practice, then this class for you. You will leave feeling like you truly used your body yet in a safe, effective manner.

As with all of our classes, we include deep breathing exercises and a delicious relaxation (as well as useful tips and information) to leave you feeling wonderful today and better prepared for tomorrow.

Women not in the Prenatal + Postnatal phases are also welcome to join if they wish to experience this practice.

Candlelight Yin Yoga

A beautiful, candelit Yin Yoga practice desigend to relax all the senses.

Why Yin Yoga? Well, it has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues (which we are calling the yang tissues).

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.
Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasise internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

While initially this style of yoga can seem quite boring, passive, or soft, yin practice can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses. We can remain in the postures anywhere from one to twenty minutes! Yin and yang tissues respond quite differently to being exercised. You need to experience this to really know what Yin Yoga is all about. After you have experienced it, even just once, you will realise that you have been doing only half of the asana practice.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its coolest, deepest, quietest, stillest moments.
 
This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props needed to create as little effort while holding poses. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes allowing joints and fascia to release.
 
This class will complement your Vinyasa practice and will open and release areas in need of more stretching.
